Cost of translation depends on how big the text is. Basic unit of accounting is conversion page. In the case of normal translations one page is equal to 1500 signs with spaces. We divide spoken translations into 3 cathegories:

• Consecutive translation – usually done during business meetings. Consists of translating what the speaking person is saying, one sentence at a time, or in the moments when speaker stops their speech to give translator time to translate.
• Simultaneous translation – usually done during conferetions. To attempt this kind of translation, proffessional equipment is required; soundproof rooms for translators and receivers with headphones for the audience. Simultaneous translators always works in the pairs.
• Whispered translation – usually done for one or two people. In the special situations transmitter with microphone and receiver with headphones may be used. Whispered translation is very similar to simultaneous translation with one small difference – translator is not sitting inside soundproof room but next to the audience and whipsers translated speech into his ear. In the case when receivers and transmitters are used, translator may be in differen place than the audience.
