Can I send a photo of a document from my phone?
Yes – a legible photo or scan will suffice. Make sure the document is complete and uncropped.
Does the document have to be in paper form?
More and more offices are accepting electronic translations. However, the Civil Registry Office may require a paper version.
Do I need to show the original?
If a translation from the original is required, we will arrange a convenient way to present it.
Can I attach other documents to one order?
Yes – you can submit multiple documents and receive a combined quote.
How do I obtain a copy of an English death certificate?
It can be ordered through the General Register Office website. This requires providing the deceased’s details and an administration fee.
Can a death certificate be obtained in an abridged version?
Yes, but we recommend a full copy for translation – it contains more data needed in Poland.
Can I legally use the document in Poland?
Yes – after being translated by a sworn translator, the document becomes legally binding.
📌Once your order is confirmed, we’ll ask you to send a scan of your passport to ensure the correct spelling of your first and last names.
If there are any discrepancies despite this request, a document correction fee will be charged at PLN 50 gross (depending on the type and size).
Lifetime warranty
If a sworn translation of an English death certificate contains an error on the part of the translator, we will correct it immediately and free of charge, and we will return the corrected translation at our expense – both in electronic and paper versions (if applicable).
Quick correction
If you notice a minor inaccuracy, want to complete the data in accordance with the source document, or require an annotation in square brackets, we will make such corrections as a matter of priority, in most cases free of charge.
